IBF is one of the most active independent lists in Germany!

Vote IBF – Independent. Competent. Effective.

On March 15th, 2026, all residents of Frankfurt can vote for the new municipal foreigners’ representation (KAV) as well as the city parliament.
EU citizens can vote in both elections, while non-EU citizens can vote for the KAV.
Postal voting can already be requested today.

Our list, IBF (Ich bin ein Frankfurter – I am a Frankfurter), will be running for both the KAV and the city parliament! Over the last five years, we have achieved, implemented, and initiated many things together – making IBF one of the most active independent lists in Germany.

Our record speaks for itself:

  • Over 200 inquiries and proposals to the city council and magistrate
  • More than 20 unique events, 13 innovative projects, international initiatives
  • Close cooperation with universities, diplomatic representatives, ministries, and major companies

Our member Jumas Medoff was elected KAV chairman in 2016 and 2021, keeping his promise to make the Frankfurt KAV the most effective municipal foreigners’ representation in Germany.

We will continue to work for Frankfurt with passion, practical solutions, and innovative projects:

City Parliament & Governance:

  • Frankfurt needs an independent voice, not controlled by party headquarters, but rooted in the city.
  • We fight for a strong, safe, fair, and economically vibrant city.
  • We believe climate neutrality by 2035 is possible through strict environmental requirements for politics and city administration and smart optimization of municipal operations, without burdening residents.
  • In 2019, Jumas Medoff initiated the digitalization of KAV correspondence, saving over 12,000 sheets of paper and reducing costs – today, over 250,000 sheets and CO₂ emissions have been saved across city offices.

Environment & Sustainability:

  • Expanding biogas, electricity, and heat production – made in Frankfurt
  • Encouraging solar energy on private balconies
  • Urban fruit tree planting, energy-efficient parking, and waste reduction initiatives
  • QR codes on bins, elevators, and escalators for fast damage reporting

Integration, Immigration & Education:

  • Almost all improvements in the Immigration Office of Frankfurt came from our proposals, including more German courses, vocational training, and continuing education programs
  • A modern, fully digital Immigration Office
  • Quality seals for language courses to ensure effective learning
  • Expanded career-oriented German courses, especially for women and refugees
  • Inclusive playgrounds and opportunities for all children
  • English as a second administrative language where needed

Youth & Future Skills:

  • The Robotics and Future Center will open for ages 12+ in 2026; we aim to expand programs for children from 6 years, supporting early talent development.
  • Financial literacy, media literacy, coding, robotics, and chess programs in schools

Digitalization & Efficiency:

  • A paperless, streamlined, fully digital administration
  • Shorter waiting times, better services, and resources invested into efficient processes

Housing, Mobility & Safety:

  • Housing projects for system-relevant professions like emergency workers and police
  • Pilot projects for double-decker buses and a river tram
  • Parking solutions for craftsmen and midwives
  • Smart use of AI and telematics for cleanliness and safety

Economy & Innovation:

  • Supporting self-employed people, start-ups, and the game industry
  • Promoting “Made in Germany” products in municipal procurement
  • Accessing EU funds consistently to support Frankfurt associations
  • Programs for career development and technical training for women

Why vote for IBF?

  • We work independently, internationally, and solution-oriented
  • We fight for competence instead of party routine
  • We implement pragmatic, sustainable ideas rather than empty slogans
  • Many city-wide improvements began as our proposals, often against resistance, always solution-oriented

With your vote, we will continue to build a safe, strong, and proud Frankfurt – one we can all share
.
